Payment is captured in full at the time of registration. HST will be applied to all cooking classes. It is client’s responsibility to be aware of the date and time of a class. A registration notification will be deployed to the email associated with the client’s user account, however Upper Canada is not responsible if you do not receive this electronic communication.
Please note that refunds for classes are not offered, but rather an exchange can be issued for a future class by the same hosting vendor when at least 48 hours cancellation notice is provided. Registration alterations are not permitted if less than 48 hours notice is given. While we are not able to offer credit, exchanges or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, personal emergencies or events beyond your control, you are always welcome to send someone in your place, as we understand that these things do happen. Class spots are fully transferable. If you fail to attend a registered class, an exchange or make-up class will not be offered. If you are purchasing this class or event as a gift, please provide this cancellation policy to the recipient, as the policy will still apply. Kitchen & Co. reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice. A full refund will be issued to each registrant. We reserve the right to alter the menu or change the instructor if necessary.
While we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, please note that Kitchen & Co. is not allergen free as peanuts and other potential trigger foods are widely available and served throughout the food market. We request that you inform us, at the time of registration checkout of any dietary restrictions that may be in conflict with the menu listed in the class description. We will endeavor to accommodate special requests where possible. If an individual chooses to participate in a class with a known allergy, they are agreeing to hold harmless Upper Canada and Oxford Properties Group for any allergy induced reaction that may occur. Anyone with Anaphylaxis must bring personal treatments with them, and while we are here to help in all situations where possible, participants should be prepared to administer it independently if required.
We host Kids in the Kitchen classes that are specifically geared towards children ages 4-11. Kids under the age of 12 must remain accompanied by an adult, as we do not offer drop-off programming. Tweens and young adults are welcome to register for our regular classes. Any participant under the age of 19 attending a regular class will be offered a selection of artisanal sodas and bottled water in lieu of wine or beer, where applicable.
