Kids In The Kitchen | Cookie Baking 2 Styles

Calling all bakers in training! Families are invited to join Baker Mariangela Vivas in the kitchen to create two styles of everyday yummy cookies from scratch. Mariangela will guide you on how to make the Our Farm signature gluten-free Almond & Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies, as well as their Baci di Dama Italian “kiss” cookies (two buttery almond cookies sandwiched together with a dollop of dark chocolate)…yum! This family baking experience is interactive and hands-on, and will teach you various trade techniques to achieving the perfect cookie everytime. Bake and eat these fresh out-of-the-over treats and even take some home to enjoy later.

Mariangela Vivas

Mariangela Vivas originally co-founded Our Farm Organic Bakery exclusively as a wholesale bakery for about three years before opening its doors to the public. The concept allowed the community to purchase freshly baked organic products using ingredients from local farms. Their specialty is sourdough and breads made using spelt, a grain which produces a dense, tough-to-bake bread, but offers a diverse level of healthy properties, containing about fifty percent more protein than most wheat breads. Today, Our Farm offers a wide assortment of baked goods including delicious cookies and with several gluten free options.
