Having brunch gives you the ideal excuse to indulge in just about anything, such as combining both sweet and savoury flavour profiles…yum! Join Baker Mariangela Vivas of Our Farm Organic Bakery in the kitchen as she takes you on an elevated brunch experience. Upon arrival, enjoy a beautiful orange & carrot juice to sip. Next up – a customized healthy omelette with your choice of cheese, ham, mushroom, spinach, red onion and roasted peppers. Mariangela will demonstrate how to create Avo-Toast (avocado on toast) using ripe avocados, alfalfa sprouts and extra virgin olive oil served open-faced on toasted Our Farm spelt & rye sourdough. The final feature will be a lovely French Toast on Our Farm egg bread finished with cinnamon and cane sugar, fresh berries and real maple syrup.

Mariangela Vivas originally co-founded Our Farm Organic Bakery exclusively as a wholesale bakery for about three years before opening its doors to the public. The concept allowed the community to purchase freshly baked organic products using ingredients from local farms. Their specialty is sourdough and breads made using spelt, a grain which produces a dense, tough-to-bake bread, but offers a diverse level of healthy properties, containing about fifty percent more protein than most wheat breads. Today, Our Farm offers a wide assortment of baked goods including delicious cookies and with several gluten free options.
